I understand. I have dealt with someone very similar. She probably feels really hurt if you lost control and perhaps said some things you now regret. Perhaps your argument was justified, but sit down and talk with her. Never go to bed angry. The good news is she probably already understands this behavior and is hopeful that a heartfelt apology is to follow. You don't have to bring up whatever you were arguing about right now, but just hug her and tell her you are sorry. Then plan to have a discussion about whatever it is you were arguing about and allow her to fully put her 2cents in while you just listen. then ask her to do the same. then decide on a solution without yelling and losing control.
