You are right! Not a lot of people want to face this truth. I say it repeatedly and everyone thinks I'm stupid. Nobody is going to survive this on their own...maybe for a little while, but the key is to start small communities...

We are going to have to help each other, not shoot people on sight. That is only going to work for so long. Ugh.

Get to know your neighbors, check on them in a storm. Ban together and help each other. I'm going to be the quack going door to door (after I rob the local pharmacy) trying to help people in need and to get people to act, not react.

Everybody is good at something, not everybody is good at everything. We are each going to bring to the table a particular gift...

If we're in a real SHTF scenario, also, we are going to have children without parents, we're not going to end up on a deserted island like the survivors of lost, lol, without any kids....Be realistic...someone is going to have to step up and teach the kids, help take care of the kids, help ease the stress of the kids...

IF TSHF, it is not going to be anything like most people are thinking...

We're out in the country surrounded by cattle ranches and hayfields. Everybody's family knows everybody else. The widow to our south died recently. Her sister, to our left, is in a nursing home. The two spinster sisters behind us live next to the retired Air Force comm specialist who still "consults." He told me that if the balloon goes up, he'll be gone, too. So he's my "idiot gauge."

Truth! I have recently come to see that dividing people is how the game is tilted in their favor.....if we join together we will prevail.

I thinks when chaos strikes, and the idiots are all gathering together deciding on whose in charge of what, I'll just slip away into the woods and never be seen again.

The ones who want to be leaders are the ones you should steer clear of...
