Yes, I've been seeing that lately and decided to put a nightlight in the bedroom because I'm been seeing shadows in the dark (if that makes sense) that really creep me out.
Quoting: Turtles Voice i see white static with the lights off. i keep a light on now too when i go to bed!  odd...I too am now scared of the dark again...for maybe a year now I leave a lamp on in the other room, which shines into the bedroom...to many grey alien like figures at the end of sleep paralysis... I have had issues with sleep paralysis since I was a teenager. Even a sheet over me will make me feel like I cant breath when it happens.
