Japan is shaking
I have been watching the live cameras at Fukushima just in the last half an hour and there seems to be a lot of shaking going on every few minutes.
Wind speed is currently 29km/hr. so I don't think it is strong enough to cause so much shaking, PLUS the wind would not cause vertical shaking which is taking place as well as horizontal.
Might pay to keep a watch on the two sites.

The tepco camera is not shaking as much, but that makes sense because it is a much more stable camera mount and not out in the open like the other one. The shaking is still just visible though and at the same time. There are no white caps visible out at sea which would be there if it was high winds.

You are right. No quakes showing up. I checked that first thing, but it is still shaking every few minutes so I'm buggered if I know what is going on, but VERTICAL shaking seems to me like something is definitely happening.
If you watch the camera long enough you will see it for yourself.

I thought so too at first but it isn't all that windy there at the moment. I have seen the cameras many times and never seen this much shaking, VERTICALLY and there are no white caps out at sea which you should see if it is very windy.

I'm not confused, I just don't know how to read the graphs on the link that someone else offered. It was not my post. Look closer.

Yea well it has to be wind. An earthquake that would cause shaking like that for more than 30 mins would sink Japan and there would be tsunami waves etc
