2012 wants to spoil my band's first LP album? | |

User ID: 1312616  Spain12/10/2012 12:05 AM  Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My band has been trying to record our first album for 3 years already and we've run into all sorts of synchronistic events that have ruined our plans. Strange and almost humorous strokes of bad luck. Could it be that destiny is sending us a message to give up because the world will end anyway? Btw the album is a concept piece about certain known evil extraterrestrials of which a movie was gonna be made about but suffered a similar strange fate  "Your gates will be open continually; They will not be closed day or night, So that men may bring to you the wealth of the nations, With their kings led in procession. For the nation and the kingdom which will not serve you will perish, And the nations will be utterly ruined." |

Two band members that joined ended up leaving (luckily the original nucleus is still intact)but that made rehearsal space much more expensive to pay. Keyboard player's computer died. He does all the preproduction. Keyboard's player car died. He can't do anything without his car and we depend heavily on him. Keyboard player is jobless, his father is providing him with money but his father is fucking broke too (opened a business and is losing money like crazy). Apparently his father is gonna buy him a new car and new computer, I don't even know where he's gonna get that money from anyway. I am having problems with my ankles to play the fast double bass parts. We were planning to go record in november had to cancel cuz we weren't anywhere near finished.( we didn't have the money for recording ready either) Sometimes I feel I won't ever see this thing finished.
