Not John Candy, Louie Anderson, the cartoon voice actor of Life With Louie, anyone else remember him having died? Saw him on TV just now.

I hate the idea of timeline shift but i was sure he died.

I used to like the idea of timeline shift but that's what this place will do to you, make you crazy and forget logic.

Time and space are 1.

He's not dead? Huh. I thought he died shortly after John Candy. Perhaps I was confusing him with someone else ... maybe Chris Farley.

Louie Anderson hosted a TV Game show called The Family Feud.

Ray Combs (previous host) killed himself.

This "time slip" can also be considered a "memory slip"

Yes, OP... I thought he died of a heart related death, ie: heart attack or something like that a couple years back.

 Quoting: Jervis and V-Honey

John Candy is still alive. Look, here is my 'i swear i remember what happened' story. Many years ago i REMEMBERED some 'fat guy i liked' died. I know i was not thinking of Chris Farley. It was either John Candy or someone else. I remembered he voiced a cartoon show i enjoyed. When i searched i discovered it was Louie Anderson. There is some blur, i admit, whether i was searching for Louie Anderson because i remembered he died but couldn't remember his name, or whether i was searching for the cartoon Life With Louie and then discovered he had died, but either way i remember (or found out) he died (being the point) because i felt sorry that we lost him because i really enjoyed his cartoon series which was, at the time i was remembering, many years cancelled.

And although i sort of remember John Candy dying of liver disease or something like that, he is apparently alive - oh wait, that's just the flipitty-do, where Candy and Anderson flipped fates.
So now, although i cannot recall any recent films of his (obviously now) i feel like if John Candy were to die it would have been recent, but he died in 1994 so whatever. Chris Farley died when i was young, young enough to remember watching him live but Candy did not have a cartoon show and i did NOT miss Cool Runnings.

Side note, it seems these people who should otherwise be dead have really black eyes?!

Edit: John Candy is not alive, i know this now.

What's really fucking weird, to me, is how i searched for him before i even posted this subject to make sure i had a timeline shift occurrence, and yet i still remember him being alive even a day after researching and seeing he is dead.

Found some info online that says that the Louie Anderson rumors started in 2009 and circulated for many years via emails. Thats why so many people were under the impression he had died. Silly internet rumors that caught wind.

Re: Am i the only one who thought Louie Anderson died?
I distinctly remember Louie Anderson dying 2 different times. One from suicide and the headlines read "Family Feud curse strikes again" . When I saw this I thought to myself Wow the Family Fued curse is real! Then Steve Harvey became the host I was like oh oh. Steve Harvey, gonna die too.
Then Louie Anderson ended up being alive and well. I couldn't believe it! Shortly after that again headlines read "Louie Anderson dead at 48 from massive heart attack". I then thought to myself ok now he really died. He was overweight and in bad shape so massive heart attack seemed normal although horrible. My wife and I both remember the second one and we shared the story of him already being dead and then alive. Now he's alive and well!!! Really, really? This is crazy! This can't be a Mass delusion or Mass Hyseria! This is very disconcerting! How can we believe anything is what it is anymore? This is conditioning everyone to second guess reality. Life is not supposed to be relative to individual experience. There should be some things that just are what they are. Is this asking too much? God help us all!
