The limits are for fine collection. Some insane people who have a high tolerance can drive after 12 beers or so. My limit is 5 with a 4 hour buffer. The message of this video still rings true. How may times have you woke up wondering wtf happened last night? I'm had three dui arrests so far. Two were under that age of 21 and enforced thanks to my state's zero tolerance laws, .05, .07. Neither time was I legally over the 21 year old limit, but I still got the d dub being under 21. 10 years later, I get another one in front of my apartment. In retrospect, I deserved it because of all the other times I got away with it, and I was genuinely fucked up the third time. Regardless, I never hurt anyone any time. I have since quit drinkning and driving for good. I still drink, still drive, just not at the same time ;) You can seriously fuck someone or yourself up, and it doesn't always matter how good you are as you have no control what other people do. Case in point, my 2nd dui was caused by a sober person hitting me and calling in the wreck to police. Yes, I did not cause the wreck, but I went to jail. Be safe, be careful. Also, don't say a fucking word to the cops, don't do the tests, nothing. Just shut the fuck up and let whatever happen happen. You are not going to out smart a cop if you've been drinking. Just shut up, and ask if you are free to go. If you go to jail, shut up, don't say anything other than asking to speak to a lawyer, you will thank me later.

They should have testers at all booze stores that are free, how do I guess if I'm under or over legislated limits without a tester.

No doubt you are right about the minimum being crazy for MOST people, but there are a lot of d-bag morons out there that need it too. I've always said it is WAY to easy to get a DL, and it should be way easier for you to lose it.

why do we treat driving like a right? If we only let qualified people drive there would be far fewer accidents.

I have an extremely high tolerance and have drove with 12-16 beers in me with a sober person and I drove fine. this was 2 years ago and I haven't drove with any alcohol in me sincr and plan to keep it this way.
