| Anonymous Coward User ID: 1427499 12/10/2012 01:47 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | as with all good things, ignore the movie and the follow-up; both pervert the true message inherent in the original series: find your inner power, practice until adept, then express that power for the benefit of all - great, no? the film then boils all the hard work into a petty teen f#87fest focusing only on the strife, and not the build up or after... the series which followed, Korra, is basically brainwashing the audience (mostly kids) that the beautiful fantasy world has been co-opted by tptb and all is mass-produced and homogenized - death of imagination... all in all, a great original story, with the usual money-cow milkers squeezing very empty udders for marketing benefit - never forget, most of what you see on tv is advertising, and most of advertising is setting you up for the sell, not providing earnest report for your own judicious discernment... even when you do not pay, they are still selling you the means on how to decide whether or not you do so... |
