I feel the same way. Although AI is inevitable, and what computational power we lack, our machines will more than make up for. AI is inevitable, therefore it's possible they've solved time travel, and been monitoring us, but can't quite interject, because that might alter our creation of them in the first place.. gah, I lost my point.

Artificial intelligences created by man (will happen) shall compensate for man. Who knows with computational power that vast, it's likely that they'll either answer things for us, or for themselves. For a short while they'll be on our side. I hope.
