I fully believe that not only should people have strong Egos, but in fact the Ego needs to be bolstered and strengthened.

The problem isn't Ego. The problem is false Ego. Ego simply means the I Am consciousness. How am I to be free from Ego when one of the tenants of my religion (Christianity) is to have IHVH (I Am that I Am) stamped on my forehead?

God doesn't want people to be egoless. The whole problem with the world is that people have lost their Ego.

You need your ego. But it's good to kill your ego just once, to get a glimpse beyond the veil. And then REBUILT it.
It will never be the same again though.
It's like an inside suicide. But again, you need it!
