Shit. I was so hoping that the battle would be in a field somewhere. I don't know why I keep hoping this. War isn't like that anymore. It's mingled right in with the population. The killing of civilians is no longer an 'accident', it's the tactical reality.

I heard the cellphone ringtone that was often in the background of the RT feed...Gaza was the first thing that jumped in to my head. Heard a plane going over today and it sounded just like a drone...

No no. Internet was restored several days ago. It was off for 3 days total. The video that came out the day the internet was restored was just... just... graphic.
