Oh for fuck sake people, it's a SNL skit.
They used Maine as a play-on word to "Main" Justice.
What's the big deal???

It was cute. They explained how they had to relocate to Maine after Katrina.

What the fuck is the big deal?

The 'defendant' himself kept asking what the hell was going on. It was meant to be bizarre. Extreme if you will.

Man, not everything has a hidden message. In fact, maybe this thread has a hidden message and was made by an agent of the underground world of a secret society!

I mean......suspicion cuts both ways.

That's fucking hilarious. Chill out, OP. It's just non-sense humor.

Well, it does fit with one of the reasons I moved to Florida. A shifting of the equator and "pole shift". Florida is going to become a lot cooler and be a bit more land heavy. The North east of the US will become a lot more tropical.

People keep thinking it's going to do that, but it's more likely to sink a little then ice over a bit.

It could just be an unfunny SNL sketch . . .hard as that is to believe.

No it was funny!

It actually may not be funny to the humor challenged though. You have to appreciate the crazy in mixing 2 different ideas.

Normally., I call people out on this website and enjoy debunking the dumb Shit people come up with, but I can't really come up with anything.
Maybe after the sketch was written, fox, or one of the other actors wanted to keep the focus on a place that still needs support. Or perhaps there were a large number of the actors involved that couldn't do the accent.. Maine accent isn't a joke, it's quite hard. I should know, I'm right next door. That being said, the comment about space-time continuum, was so out of place it almost seemed important. I'm leaning toward there's something here.
But it would not come from the actors obviously.
The writers are no idiots, even though for the most part they are unfunny these days, they are still relevant. This is just more of
GLP effect maybe. You guys are now influencing American television... Proud?

Saturday Night Live does a very "strange" skit -- no one knows what it means...

yahoo news says this:

"So Weird, It's Funny: Maine Justice

Wait, why does everyone in this Maine courtroom speak with a Louisiana accent? Why did they play "When the Saints go marching in?" What's going on here? We were confused for most of the sketch -- maybe it was a town with a lot of Hurricane Katrina refugees -- but Jason Sudeikis's crazy Col. Sanders and a cameo by a moonshine-swilling Charlie Day made this whole bizarre thing kind of hilarious. "

watch it in light of Bayou Corne Sinkhole.. listen to key words.. make the association to the "sinking of the maine".. rising water costs.. and the end.. ass on fire across the bayou..

This is a veiled reference... if it was just a one time occurrence , I wouldn't say anything.. but last year... before the Japan earthquake.. three weeks before.... they ran this skit: "a spot of tea"... at the time it didn't make sense... 3 weeks BEFORE the massive Japan Earthquake...

Look at the flag people...notice any differences from the official ME State Flag?

[link to www.50states.com]

Then ask yourself...why would they make this " small changes?"

I guess it could be possible that they found one with a RED start...but given the paranoia with red stars lately...
