After the stunt received international coverage, the nurse who answered the call, 46-year-old Jacintha Saldanha, took her own life. How much the prank had to do with the tragedy is open to conjecture, but what is certain is that Michael Christian and Mel Greig are two young people under unimaginable pressure. Though they both say that they are emotionally stable in talking about the events, both Christian and Greig appear visibly distraught." (well under 50%) |

They weren't the ones who pushed her to commit suicide; the extreme criticism and bullying she would have received from the hospital and masses of sheep around the world would have. All you cunts make me sick |

The operator should have noticed the caller ID (Australian), and known it was a prank. Afterwards, she should have laughed it off and gone about her life. If she did commit suicide, which hasn't been proven yet. Then it's her fault and no-one elses. She selfish chose to punish her family and friends by suicide. If it wasn't this event, then something else would have pushed her off the cliff. Who hear can say that they have never had something extremely embarrassing happen to them? Strangely, we aren't all dead. |
