I know a GUY who went to CDL school, and spent a fortune getting his license, but nobody would hire him because he got his face all tattooed. He looks like something out of a freak show, and he doesn't "get it". He doesn't understand why a company wouldn't want HIM representing THEM. Girls AND guys don't realize how trashy tattoos make people look. Why would anyone want to look like a circus freak, or a convict? |

Not a full, or even half sleeve, because I am an accountant and want to keep my job. But I have a few noticeable ones if I wear short enough sleeves. If there is negativity about them, I don't hear it. Every once in a while I get a compliment or a "what does that mean?" but other than that, I carry on with life. There also was an iron worker female on a show on TV yesterday (of course about iron workers in NYC)....and she had them completely covering both her arms. I thought at first she had on a long sleeve colored shirt but then I had to do a double take on the looking and it was all tatoos. Course she was the "man" on her crew or should I say he was the female on the crew. Maybe it is just too much male testosterone in females. Either way...that ornament was ugly. I don't like tatooes. I think they are all ugly. No matter how colorful they start out they end up a wash out grayish/blue. Why anyone would want to deface the beautiful body that GOD gave them is beyond me. Surgical scars or scars from injuries you can't help but to willingly and voluntarily deface your body with graffitti is just unbelievable to me. I don't have any tats and will never get one. |
