But officially we are told that we'll fry to death from too much solar activity during 2012/13 solar maximum?????
CME's will fry all our cars, cell phones, computers, TV's etc...
How come we are still alive?

Well, the problem is NOT that we have a very quiet period, this can really happens... But I have seen in the last months little periods where the Sun is so quiet, and sometimes I asked myself if these data, that comes officially from the government agencies, can be somehow ´masked´ sometimes in the eminence of some extreme event.

As NOOA says somewhere in its site, they consider that this information is strategically very important, and that´s why they use their time and resources in this monitoring.

But I agree, if in fact the Sun is quiet, LET´S ROCK AND ROLL!!!
