I would like to eat more naturally but it's quite expensive. I suppose, I should probably prioritise. It's a common misconception that ORGANIC food is more expensive.. The de-nutrification of foods in all products including fruits and vegetables is startling. It may look like an apple, but there's very little apple inside. As such the body is always hungry and we eat more.. and more. This is why America is the most obese country, their food is garbage. If you buy WHOLE ORGANIC foods, your body will be full. Don't believe me? Try it for a week... 100% ALL ORGANIC.. and you won't believe how little you crave food. The body wants nutrition and about 2000 calories a day... however if the nutrition isn't there it will gladly pack in 5000 calories a day. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to do the math... if a GMO apple costs 50cents and an organic apple costs 80cents, but keeps you full for twice as long.. then in fact it is cheaper. Now when you consider this, consider how little you'll be paying doctors.. as you'll never be sick. Also I spoke with Bruno Comby who is considered to be one of the smartest people in the world and has graduated from the highest school in Europe (Ecole Polytechnique). I'm also going to recommend vegetarianism also cheaper then eating meat. I think the problem is that you need to know how to cook, and many people don't know how. Eating raw is excellent too, but that gets to be a little extreme for people. I recommend getting a centrifugal hard-vegetable juicer these are available at thrift stores for 5-10$. When I buy vegetables for the juicer I don't even think about it that much I just buy whatever looks like it will fit in there and has allot of juice. Carrots are a really good place to start. I also recommend getting a blender and eating smoothies, esp banana and berry smoothies. Mix your whey protein and molecularly distilled fish-oil into the berry smoothie and you will be well on your way to major health benefits. |

I have measured the temperature of carrots before and after juicing and the increase is barely measurable. Try pouring water through a juicer at room temperature and see how much it increases, it on the order of 1/100th of a degree. I think that if you are talking industrial scale it might matter, but they pasteurize factory juice anyway. They enzyme destroying heat of the centrifugal juicer is a story used to sell crazy expensive juicers, like the norwalk. That being said, I have a hydraulic press that I built instead of getting the norwalk, although I use their filter bags. The main benefit from the press is that you get all the juice there is. You can press out another half cup of juice or more from the pulp left over from a centrifugal model. The stuff truly is so dry and depleted that animals don't even eat it (maybe goats). |
