While I don't expect anything will happen on the 21st, I will pay attention. If nothing happens, I must say that all the sensationalism, constant doom preditions, and the setting of dates will be greatly trivialized in the future, imo.

Everyone's credibility is shot at that point. But, that won't keep people from scrambling around and trying to set new timelines.

Same here. This is supposed to be "THE DAY", and I've been dissappointed before (Y2K), so if nothing happens, that's it for me. I'll still come here, but I will never follow another DOOM date or take one seriously again.

I feel that 12/21/12 is just a date. We have doom without the Mayan stuff. Sinkhole's, earthquakes, Mega Storms, Geo-engineering, Fukushima (and all nuclear nightmares) and let's not forget the Sun. I think we are doomed for many reasons just not the one many are looking at.

* It just hasn't happened yet; the date was off for some reason
* It happened, just not in the way we expected (look, there was an earthquake or something!)
* It happened, but it was on the spiritual plane and Those Who Know can feel it
* "It" is ongoing, as many here say (and I believe)

I'll be coming back, same as always. I never did
