There is some aspect in some people that encourages people of other color to mock white people. It's racism plain and simple. At one time, there were more white people in a visible role, and so some self-deprecating humor was tolerable. This kind of humor is clearly racist and repugnant.

Here's the measure of all media to determine if something is racist. Insert another minority into the media, and if it sound terrible, then inserting any other group into that media is repugnant and evil.

It's why I seldom watch tv anymore. Read a book instead.

I luv black comedy and race humor is a big part of why. It's precisely funny because it's relatable, because there's some truth to it. Sometimes some blacks do wanna be rid of white folks and vice versa. The comedy arena is a welcome sanctuary to ridicule that, and also laugh at ourselves when we identify with it. I luv that about American culture. Personally I find Jamie Foxx a lil smug but then we expect it, it's a part of his act and he IS one talented mofo. I'm a bigger fan of George Carlin, he could take whatever difference there was, black or white, male or female, rich or poor, smart or stupid, and smack you endlessly in the face with the hilariously absurd truth of it while you laughed and bayed for more. I watched that SNL episode today.
Even though I'm not 100% of either race, I told my partner that a white guy couldn't say "I killed all the blacks in the movie" or "I killed all the mexicans", sometimes I think blk folks get to use racism and its ok. All the pro black cheesyness made it akwardly not funny. it's like yeah, I get it but really?

I also watched the current episode of SNL, and really enjoyed the show. My opinion for I do not know the man is that Mr. Foxx is a very talented man that can and has played an assortment of characters. He grew up with a large family and had a break like the popular "In Living Color" episodes. ...C.C
