| Anonymous Coward User ID: 3579277 12/10/2012 02:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Has anybody noticed....the X-37B program isn't run by the usual agency that manages spy satellites; the NRO, National Reconnaissance Office, it is being run by an internal department of the USAF, the 'U.S. Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office'. Why does it stay up for so long? Is it gathering photo data that the operators of it don't want to transmit by radio telemetry......do they want the data to stay internally on the spaceplane until its collected by the operators on the ground when it lands again? |

I mean they say that it has a "payload bay about the size of a pickup truck bed"? Nuke? What classified anything could that be, other than a bomb? "The X-37B vehicle and its cargo bay packed with a classified payload is set to make the third mission of the program." "The two space planes in the fleet — which are 29 feet long and 15 feet wide, with a payload bay about the size of a pickup truck bed — were built by Boeing Government Space Systems."
