I feel your pain and suffering...I mainly threw in the fairly non existent example of the at home dad because they *do* exist, and they sometimes *do* get burned by a female spouse that decides to head for greener pastures and has the bulk of the $$$. It's jacked either which way it goes. I tell anyone, don't get married...and go figure, I am married. It's a trap and it's fucking sick. You devote your life to a human who is subject to CHANGE, we all change, and not all change is for the better. What happens if your spouse gets depressed after an injury, won't take therapy, decides to marinate in his own juices like a petulant child and has no desire to get better? A legend in his own mind that maybe delivers at work, but comes home a DUD for you to clean and cook for. Might as well be one of the kids...

I can't give testimony for the male side of this misery, but I do recognize there are good men out there suffering the same effects from this farce. Then it's so hard to start over due to the legalities of marriage. It's easy for people to say "Just leave them" but it's hard to do that. That song "cheaper to keep her" comes to mind...
