Re: anybody else quitting weed?
Been smoking for 7 years, every.single.goddamn.day, without fail.. I used to smoke heavily during the day and then heavily during the night due to the brutal insomnia, over the past 6yrs or so I've been battling with IC, IBS, and lots of other symptoms relating to my bodys mechanisms.. I knew in the back of my head they were being caused by the MJ, my body feels so intoxicated frmo all the smoke, I have to piss and shit constantly because my body feels like it's rotting on the inside, my skin became discolored, patchy, I developed rosacea and age spots on my face(im only 26) I've lost the sense of smell, my nose is constantly clogged and it feels like my sinuses are so swollen they touch my brain, every morning I cough so hard I nearly puke, feels like lung cancer and it only goes away when I get the first toke of the day, not to mention the emotional symptoms such as depression, anxiety, etc.. the past few months I reached a tipping point, no longer could I enjoy it because I would get brutal heartburn everytime I smoke, I can tell weed has destroyed my stomach's mechanisms and now it's making my stomach acid come up every single time I smoke.. I used to smoke to deal with these problems even though I knew smoking was the cause.. due to weed's ability to somehow 'settle your stomach', as soon as the high is gone I was left with pain though, so I was stuck in a relentless vicious circle..

Yesterday I smoked and had heartburn so bad I was about to go to the ER because I thought I couldn't breathe and I was gonna die, it lasted hours and hours.. I'm still recovering from it, I feel like I've destroyed my body with smoke and it can no longer handle it.. I love weed, I love the feeling, I love how it picks me up when I feel down, but it's hurt me so much, it's like loving a woman who cheats on you.. setting a substance on fire and inhaling it will NEVER be good for your body.. and I've only smoked regular weed a handful of times in my life, I always smoke super high-grade stuff, it doesn't matter, it's still smoke and chemicals..

Today I decided to quit weed, please wish me luck...

Sounds like you are smoking some dirt weed with pesticides and mold.

Stop smoking cigarettes. Stop drinking. Improve what you eat and your health.

There are thousands and thousand of people that can handle using cannabis... You cannot. So, it is best you quit.

You think they wanted to let us have this?

[link to www.forbes.com]

"While voters who feel allegiance to both Obama and pot decriminalization are plentiful, their common causes have not had a good history together.

Obama said recently: “ “I don’t think that legalization of drugs is going to be the answer.”

More ominously for supporters of legalization, this summer U.S. Deputy Attorney General James Cole wrote this:

Persons who are in the business of cultivating, selling or distributing marijuana, and those who knowingly facilitate such activities, are in violation of the Controlled Substances Act, regardless of state law."

A Vaporizer is a one-time investment. You can build your own. You can continue enjoying all the positive benefits without the damage to your lungs. If you've spent all that money on weed over the years, and love it so damn much, shelling out a hundred and a half bucks is not a big deal. You've probably bought more expensive bongs.

Also, IT FRIGGIN CURES CANCER. Why has nobody else mentioned that?!

Iv'e smoked weed for 4 years straight don't plan on quitting anytime soon, helps me clear out any negative thoughts, dont reccomend quitting you may come to realize going back into a selfish lifestyle caring about materialistic or self-image-embettering things, which is much worse then anything weed can cause you.

Yup, we will have strong bones,be cancer free, we won't develop dementia...although, when you think about it a bit, given current economic conditions, forgetfulness and an early death might be a more of a blessing....maybe we should all become alcoholics if things keep up.

Our results indicate that cannabidiol exerts a combination of neuroprotective, anti-oxidative and anti-apoptotic effects against beta-amyloid peptide toxicity, and that inhibition of caspase 3 appearance from its inactive precursor, pro-caspase 3, by cannabidiol is involved in the signalling pathway for this neuroprotection.

The devils best trait is deceit.

And his greatest achievement is convincing the world he doesn't exist.

Weed isn't your friend no matter how many times it tells you it is or no matter how many times it numbs your feelings so you dont havr
e to face them head on it WILL catch up with you.

For many that wont look past weeds 'beneficial' properties it is already too late. Your body was made perfect the human mind is already, naturally in perfect form. Dont fall for it

Weed does not cause a physical addiction. It's completely mental and it does suck but it's all about self control. Some have it, some don't.
