Ralph--a house dog User ID: 25802009 United States 12/10/2012 01:30 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Call a vet and ask. If your cat inhaled very much it could cause lung damage. If it was DE for swimming pool filters, and the cat ate it, it could be harmful depending on how much. A lot depends on cat's weigh how much inhaled or ingested. I don't think the cat would keel over right away, but I don't know what would happen to a small animal. Hope your kitty is ok. If I were you I would explore the possibility of DETOXING but I don't have any idea what would be appropriate to try for DE.
