2 large M7+ quakes in December already. Should we expect more of this magnitude or stronger?

Should we expect more of this magnitude or stronger? Just looking to get a feel for your gut feelings. It is odd to have 2 quakes of this size so close together, but not unheard of. HOwever if we had a 3rd in th next day or 2...yikes.

So I'd say quakes of significance are "up" in December.

Should we expect more of this magnitude or stronger? We need 1.5 7+ EQ's each month on average (18 7+ quakes each year). So 2 is quite normal.... Nothing to see here....
