Awesome! I captured the moon a bit and even the moons of Jupiter, see in HD here [ link to www.youtube.com (secure)] but this was with a Nikon D7000 with a mere 50/500 lens. Nothing like your telescope. Can you try to get some images of Jupiter and it's moons with your set-up? Bet you it will be awesome! Cheers OP. Pretty cool video. But my webcam doesn't want to pick up the moons :( Wow, neat colors though. I wonder - if you zoomed out a bit and focus on a broader area, if then maybe you pick up the moons? In any event, thanks again, nice! I think my webcam just sucks. It's a $50 Orion Webcam. Ah, ok! LOL Well, great job on a budget. Still find it simply incredible what we normal folks can capture these days. On that note - I wonder how I can jimmy-rig my set-up (Nikkon D7000 with various lenses 50/200, 50/500) to somehow zoom in even more, without shelling out tons of money?? This star watching, or better said, star filming, is addicting!
