It would depend. Overall, the notion that ETs genetically engineered us is not out of the question (for me, anyhow) since God said "Let *us* create man", and God is prone to delegating His works to His children.

The issue is not a big deal either way, though - little more than a novelty in my eyes.

How do I know they are extraterrestrial, as opposed to extra-dimensional, or sub-terrainian or sub-oceanic? Could they be leftover Atlantians or Lemurians hidden in Mt. Shasta with Ancient technology to dazzle and wow me with?

Soon we will be visited by 'supernatural' persons, claiming to be our creators, performing miracles, and demanding to be worshipped....people have claimed this in the past and will again in the future.

God knew this so he gave us a warning thru the apostle Paul of what to do. Here it is.

There are those who believe...that life here began out there, far across the Universe...with tribes of humans...who may have been the forefathers of the Egyptians...or the Toltecs...or the Mayans...that they may have been the architects of the Great Pyramids...or the lost civilizations of Lemuria...or Atlantis.
Some believe that there may yet be brothers of man...who even now fight to survive--somewhere beyond the heavens!

One of the reasons I gave up belief in Christianity is because I realized we probably were a genetic creation by other aliens who visited earth on a mission to produce an intelligent species here, as well as other planets. God is so much more than the bearded man and his blond long-haired son who sit in the heavens above the earth. The true God is a huge incomprehensible great spirit of the Universe

I would tell them to get away because even satan himself can transform himself into anything, even an angel of light the Bible says to DECEIVE us! The Bible makes it clear how we ere made... GOD created us, not some wacko alien group from outer space... who would believe that foolishness? People are setting themselves up for utter deception in these last days because they just REFUSE to believe what the Bible says, and the Bible says it's all going to happen! I intend to be prepared for the "miracles" satan has on hand at the end and I will test it ALL by a THUS SAITH THE LORD!

No, not at all. So if jesus died for humans, which is the best thing god created, and the devil only is within Earth, does that mean the other creations are perfect or did satan and jesus exist on their planet, with a test as well? It would also remove that fuzzy warm feeling Christians get when they think of humanity being special in Gods eye...

This would not lesson my faith at all. The bible CLEARLY states that God is in HEAVEN and Jesus was taken up into the clouds. So if someone claimed to come from the "heavens" I would simply ask a few questions about GOD and Jesus and see what kind of answers I got.
But would it affect my faith? NO. If you read Ezekiel's description of what he saw in his book of the bible, I think even Christians would have to admit that it is really some high tech stuff.
