Why do the Christians always cite Bible texts that indicate if I don't believe that god should cruse me? Thats not very nice. How in the hell am I supposed to know what the true religion is, if there even is one, with the thousands of sects of major (differing) religions worldwide???? Religion is basically an element of TIME and LOCATION. Nothing more. If you were born in the ME you would be Islamist, believing that YOUR religion is the one and true one... if my soul is at stake, should not god at least make an effort to tell everyone at one time, globally what he expects??? I understand your confusion. I will tell you but I don't think that will make a difference till you seek for yourself.

When the Creator made man in his image. There was division between the angels. Which is known as the rebellion. When Adam
was created he was innocent like a child. Not having the knowledge of God. But having his likeness. Adam and Eve sinned
and ate of the tree of knowledge. This was forseen by God he did not intervene because he used evil situation and turned it around against itself. Due to Adam and Eve sinning death spiritually and physically came into play. Since our dna goes back to Adam and Eve we all have that original sin. Which meant that all people after Adam and Eve would go to Hell and Death would claim them. So God came in flesh to remove that curse of the original sin away. Died went into hell to remove all the people that were bound there because of original sin. Now we get to today, everyone has original sin and everyone dies. But because Jesus Christ died for our sins you do not have to be bound by original sin. You accept what he has done accept him as savior and receive his spirit. Which is something supernatural.

First of all, if you consider atheism, plus all the other religions, by the very definition of truth, they can't ALL be wrong, and only ONE can be right. I'm here to tell you that all the sects of Christianity today (largely speaking) are under the thumb of the catholic church, and are apostate and full of false teachings. The Holy Bible (KJV) is the true living breathing word of the one and only true God. And he said that the only way to him is through the man Jesus Christ. Nearly everyone, especially in the 20th centuries, especially in America and other moderenized nations, have had access to the Bible, and are at least somewhat familiar with the story. There are no excuses.

The main thing that you have to understand is that you are in his likeness. So he expects you his image to be Godly as he is. Not act like animals. You have two natures and that is due to original sin. To act like an animal (sinful nature). Or (Divine nature) Spirit. If you come to God he fills you with his spirit that you and him would as one. In other words he brings you into his godhead. Someone made of clay by Gods spirit he bring you to himself. That you to would be just like him.

God wants a bride, a group of people who will keep his commandments and love him. His entire plan would be null & void if he didn't keep his Holy Word in tact. He is not a controlling God. The Bible talks about when the Rapture happes there will be a Grande Delusion.. Most Christians believe it will either be a worldwide earthquake or Mostlikly UFO's and the world who are left behind will believe the UFO's took us..

I'm not going to argue with you, but I will say that at those councils, the Bible was not rewritten, it was more about reinstating papal authority. But you can believe what you want. And in fact, as it's written, those who love not the truth, and take pleasure in unrighteousness will be given over to the lies of the world. I honestly expect this to happen eventually, it appears that we have been set up to be told this. The New Age community seems to expect it, and they channel their info from demons/aliens. Do a little research on how alien abductions can be stopped in the name of Jesus Christ, it's pretty startling.

As a Mormon, we believe that this earth is one of countless worlds created by God, and that we do in fact have extraterrestrial brothers and sisters. However these other beings are also created of God, and also, in his image.

Meaning: they also are human beings.

It states in the book of Revelation that God would send a strong delusion, to create a means by which the faithful would stand by the "truth" they claim to believe - or fall prey to this "strong delusion".

Also remember that Jesus Christ stated in the New Testament "other sheep have I, which are not of this fold."

We Mormons believe that Christ died for the atonement and salvation of ALL of God's children - those on this earth, and also other worlds.

The reason Jesus Christ was born into mortality on this world, to fulfill the plan of salvation designed by God, was because THIS world was the most evil of all the worlds of God's creation; the only world evil enough to kill their own savior.

So as a Christian generally and a Mormon specifically, an alien encounter seems not only possible, but maybe even likely. I can't fathom how the majority of people will follow the antichrist willingly without a strong delusion that has reason and logic behind that delusion.

As for me, the appearance if a true offworld race of beings will only strengthen my beliefs and help me resist the urge to fall prey to the delusion - one we have been warned will indeed come.
