It seems like Japan, Indonesia and Chile are always having the most potent earthquakes and Japan and Indonesia have both had 7+ mags just days apart. There's definitely a pattern upon closer inspection, but here's an example of what I'm talking about... February 2010 - 8.8 Chili March 2011 - 8.9 Japan April 2012 - 8.6 Sumatra Similar magnitudes 1 year and one month apart... Feels like the 3 points are connected somehow, So I'll wager a guess that Chili will have a 7+ mag very soon, within 72 hours I'm guessing. Japan 7.3 on Dec. 7th Indonesia 7.1 on Dec. 10th Chili, having been quiet lately, just kicked off a 4.8... preshock? Patience is a virtue I just can't wait to achieve - CalmShock
