What era is over? Talking face to face or on the phone? I doubt that. My interactions, for the most part, on a daily basis, take place face to face. I walk my dog, I walk my kids to school, and I talk to the people I meet on the street. That's what my neighborhood is like.

I think you'll find that the people who are popular on fb are popular in their life as well. I use fb to keep up with everything my friends and family are upto, whether here or back home in my native land, plus breaking news, truth sites, and wonderful inspiring freethinkers ive either never met, or met just once or twice.

I live in the northeast and have many real friends all over the USA with some friends in other countries. Keeping in touch via facebook is wonderful. I am able to see them once again, and I see their kids and grandkids growing up. I can't do that face to face or on the phone.

I have a daughter who lives 3000 miles away from me. We talk on the phone frequently, but I am able to see her friends and follow her activities on FB. I really enjoy that.

Nah.. people know, they know 'we're' not real time friends just fb friends..don't like mixing up my worlds, gets to tangled.
