almost? Isn't that the point?

It's part of the illusion to get one thinking there just MIGHT be a little hope. When you want to experience God, or bliss or whatever every attempt is just fleeting,there's always a nagging constant reminder of there being something better, you never get the full experience you never attain true fulfillment.
