Hell yeah World War Z is going to suck, all they've done is use the book's name. Then throw in a couple million CG zombies acting like ants, seems more like a SciFi movie to me than a big budget flick.

You'll LOVE my World War Z article then, haha. I completely rip the film a new one. That book is so amazing, and could ahve been the greatest piece of zombie cinema, had they pulled off even a quarter of the stuff in the book.

Instead, we get.......well, just read the article. I explain it fully in there. I even pass it off as a "Review" so more people read it, lol

Yeah, I was completely psyched hearing they were making a movie out of it. Then I saw a trailer; it was a wet dream turned nightmare. Haha.

Quite possibly my favorite part is the blind man. Damn he was a badass.

I love the comics. If the viewers of the show think the governor is bad, wait till they find out who Negan is.

World war Z, the novel by Max brooks is the best zombie setting ever. Walking dead is a close 2nd

Personally, while I get the idea of zombies as a spoof on surburbanites...


I just don't get the threat of shambling rotting creatures. It pushes the envelope beyond credibility. They seem so implausible since they'd fall apart, not to mention unable to be animated, or breathe, and hardly a threat.

But I get why people are excited about them as a genre, so I put up the link.

To me 28 Days was a far superior film since the violence inherent within us as a species is a far more fascinating theme. Or the idea of realistic vampires like in 30 Days of Night in which the creatures are transformed humans or different species which are hyperviolent and prey upon each other.

Then again, the comic Governor and the show Governor, are two different people...

He was never "nice" in the comic, he never attempted to be charming.

Walking Dead is also an Allegory like Matrix.

The Zombies are all the people who "lives" and feed on others like an entity service to self. Pure Egoism like today world population.

The walking dead (Rick, Carl, Maggie, etc.) are the people who woke up. They have to be service to others in order to survive the zombies and humans and to see the misery of their lives as they were living it

Same Allegory when Jesus woke up Lazarus from the dead.

I dont see the tv show but I always imagined actor Danny Trejo as the governor. And being a show PG13 we are not going to see the rape of Michone. So the brutality is people´s doing not the zombies.
