I can't argue with the statement posted in the OP. I think it's an excellent summary of what needs to be done from the point we are all at now. I think it shows that the Catholic Church has matured and evolved like everything else has. But, as far as trust goes, where do you put it? With the Pope? The government? The people?

Does not agree with this country's founding documents or laws on the books. If you want such a thing there are plenty of other countries already there.. you can try Mexico, Spain, Ireland, or maybe one of the Muslim countries.
