Well someone posted this in a thread the other day and it got me wondering to. Could it be king or queen?

I don't think it would matter.
I think Wills would still out live him.
Remember these people are pretty long lived.
The Queen Mum lived over a hundred.
Elizabeth probably won't live quite as long as her, but she's getting pretty close.

Perfectly legitimate question, as there was a story I read recently about one of the queen's relatives that they hid away in a secret place because they didn't want the world to know about her. There were photos of her even. Royal family considered her a stigma and a disgrace, so they tucked her away.

best response until mine.

anything obviously defective will not survive and will be deemed to have died in childbirth.

There is no way any of the royals are gonna allow anyone to suggest they have 'bad blood'.
Complications of childbirth is better than genetic defects

Re: What if Kate's baby has down syndrome?
The next in line would act as regent.

[link to en.wikipedia.org]

The Regency Acts are Acts of the Parliament of the United Kingdom passed at various times, to provide a regent if the reigning monarch were to be incapacitated or a minor (under the age of 18). Prior to 1937, Regency Acts were passed only when necessary to deal with a specific situation. In 1937, the Regency Act 1937 made general provision for a regent, and also established the office of Counsellor of State, several of whom would act on the monarch's behalf when the monarch was temporarily absent from the realm. This Act forms the main law relating to regency in the United Kingdom today.

Well, if I REALLY spoke my mind right now—which would be for YOUR benefit btw—you'd probably report me to admin.!

The question is so inane, so pointless, so void of value, that it shouldn't even be allowed on the forum to begin with!!!!!!!

To think, I have a VERY important thread that wont stay on page 1 for more than five minutes due to the HUGE ammount of nonesense that people like OP keep posting!!!

Look, fool, the couple are SO YOUNG that—for the sake of the argument—in the event of giving birth to such a child, they would EASILY have AT LEAST one more "healthy" child, to make up for a first attempt "failure" at producing a potential successor to the the throne, anyway! I mean, IF that's what OP was "concerned" about in the first place, that is!!!

He probably wasn't, though...I mean, OP STILL hasn't come on to add some depth to his question, has he???...

VERY SHALLOW. GOD HELP AMERICA!

Re: What if Kate's baby has down syndrome?
There are tests now for down syndrome and other retardation's and birth defects. You can be sure that the granddaughter in-law of the most powerful woman on earth will get those tests.

If the baby does have something wrong with it she will be an abortion and we will hear in the news how she had a miscarriage.

If the baby was somehow born with down syndrome it would never be King or Queen and would be kept out of sight. It would never get that far though.

If this was a few hundred years ago the baby would be abandoned and the woman who gave birth to it would likely be put to death. Why? Because back then it would be unthinkable for a King to father a retard. The only rational explanation would be that the Queen cheated on the King with some other man who fathered a retarded child. Since the King was Royalty there would be no way he could have fathered a retard. At least that's what they thought back then.
Ayatollah Khomeini:
“Islam makes it incumbent on all adult males, provided they are not disabled and incapacitated, to prepare themselves for the conquest of [other] countries so that the writ of Islam is obeyed in every country in the world. But those who study Islamic Holy War will understand why Islam wants to conquer the whole world…. Those who know nothing of Islam pretend that Islam counsels against war. Those [who say this] are witless. Islam says: Kill all the unbelievers just as they would kill you all! Does this mean that Muslims should sit back until they are devoured by [the unbelievers]? Islam says: Kill them [the non-Muslims], put them to the sword and scatter [their armies]. Does this mean sitting back until [non-Muslims] overcome us? Islam says: Kill in the service of Allah those who may want to kill you! Does this mean that we should surrender to the enemy? Islam says: Whatever good there is exists thanks to the sword and in the shadow of the sword! People cannot be made obedient except with the sword! The sword is the key to Paradise, which can be opened only for Holy Warriors! There are hundreds of other [Koranic] verses and Hadiths [sayings of the Prophet] urging Muslims to value war and to fight. Does all that mean that Islam is a religion that prevents men from waging war? I spit upon those foolish souls who make such a claim.”

The elite don't vaccinate their children or subject them to the many other dangerous pre-birth rituals that the sheeple subject their chidren to.

That's one of the reasons why they live so long.
