The hardest thing is to watch a film that you once thought hysterical. I tried watching Animal House again, and I found it mildly funny. Mel Brooks movies seem to hold up well, as does Monty Python. Parts of Life of Brian are still hysterical, but the Meaning of Life, not so much.
