I hands down agree with jesse on two things, his riding ability far out surpasses his counterparts.

The second was his acknowledgement of the total lack of an American built machine. Buell racing is the closest thing we got and there pretty pricey compared to its euro and jap counterparts.

I would love an American made superbike but no ones even come close on a grand scale.

I think he's done pretty good for a poor california boy. Jesse's prank on the Gas Monkey guys got major payback. The Gas Monkey guys put up a banner that said Jesse's shop was hiring. Pretty soon Jesse's phone was ringing off the hook and annoying the hell out of him!

He's never had success in BIKE BUILDING, though, as far as I know.
I've never heard of him having a show on Tv like the Teuttels have.

He may be a great bike rider and "sheet metal blacksmith," (whatever the hell that means) but that's about it. As a bike builder, he's done nothing to brag about.

And if you brag as much as he does, you better be prepared to back that up. He cannot.

And the other teams HAVE failed----but also can back up their words with evidence. The Teuttels, for example, have worked with the U.S. Army. Has James ever worked with the Army?
With any movie stars and corporations, for that matter?

The real custom bike scene is in guys basements, and in little back alley shops. Fuck these 100,000 dollar useless bikes, and fuck the drama queens that build them.

First off, Monster Garage was a show about nothing to do with bikes. He was a host who helped build stupid stuff. The bike specials were just that specials. He never had a show about him building bikes. The Teutels were on air for 10 years. That would make them one of the longest running reality shows ever.

I also meant shows where he ACTUALLY BUILDS THE BIKE WITH HIS OWN hands, like Senior and Junior.

I meet Jesse at a party in the late 90's in L.A. he talked to me for about an hour, and ( at the time ) was a pretty down to earth guy. he was definitely passionate about bike building, and even tried to sell me a bike, but I told him the price was wrong...people change... and so do times. 50 percent of our discussions was about family (his). I would have to say in my experience, his shit talking is a act for the camera? because he was nothing like he is on camera in person?
