Is Jesse James the biggest douche in the history of bike building? | |

Quoting: ~Spaze*Man~ lmao! He said that on a commercial for the show your talking about. Jesse may be a douche but he builds his bikes from scratch fabricating most of the parts. The other just buy the shit and bolt it together. He had the best bike last year and was right when he said he builds real bikes not just showpieces like the Teutels. Paul Jr.s bike last year had a small token gas tank that would run out of gas after a few miles. Jesse's was normal. Do you put any original though into your posts or do you just repeat whatever Jesse says. Jesse doesn't build anything, his employees do. He probably couldn't even assemble a bicycle from Target. Jesse started out as a one man shop with West Coast Choppers, dumbass. He's the best in the business. |

Jesse ended up unable to compete in that industry so he closed up shop. |

The funny thing is that this time Jesse ended up outside the top two. The Gas Monkey guys were in second. Jesse didn't look too pleased about that. Does anyone know if Paul Sr has been sick? He's lost a lot of weight. When they were showing clips of the early years of American Chopper, Paul Sr was clearly a huge guy. Now he looks like a shriveled up old man. |

However, that dude from Gas Monkey's that got into it with Jesse is a total dick. It looked like Jesse was ready to kick his ass and the Gas Monkey guy looked scared. Then he tells Paul Sr that he looks a lot smaller in person. What a fucking asshole. Paul Sr lost a ton of weight due to health issues. A few years back Paul Sr was twice the size he is now. Even at the size he is now and at his advanced age he could probably still kick that Gas Monkey guy's ass. |

Occ and PJD use teams of people to build bikes, that combined do not have the talent of Jesse James both relying on water jets and pre-fabricated parts to build their bikes. Gmg did only restore a pretty sweet bike and the one guy seems like a good mechanic the Richard dude is just a douche, like sr. And jr. Reaping the benefits of a well talented team. You take Jesse sr jr and Richard and have them each individually build a bike from scratch (no picking frames off the shelf) and a year to construct only Jesse would finish |

I didn't say that at all, I said being that he couldn't finish go lend a hand instead. I understand that may be a foreign concept for you. Front wheel drive is easy with chopper parts, but the tranny in front of the engine and the fat tire in front of the trans. The rider sits behind the engine in a position that at speed he is out of he wind, in town he can stand on the seat, same handle bar setup that a jet-ski has. Working Model 2D can crunch the physics with just adding a rough model so the best balance is not just trial and error, plus crash dynamics are cheaper. Over the engine is probably better than under it in the case of a crash like stop, yes? |

On one of the Jr vs Sr episodes, Paulie was bitching out Mickey for leaving a few spots of paint in the driveway of their new shop. Ironically, it was that exact kind of thing that drove Paulie to leave OCC. Paulie would make a mess and leave shit everywhere, the old man would bitch about it, and Paulie would threaten to walk out. |

You are aware of the limitations in braking ability of a standard chopper config right? No need to draw a diagram showing a bigger tire up front is better, having most of the weight close is also going to help. Plus you get 3 springs before the riders seat.
