Quoting: Menow 18943200 Bump and repeat for AC 29871220 ******************************************* One way to search the KatKam archive for useful data is to use this one: "Archive 2: A series of images captured at the same time of day for a number of consecutive days:" With that one you can plug in the number of days back to around the summer solstice and find some days when you can see the sun at the horizon. Then add 365 more days to get back to the previous year on the same group of dates, and so on. Sunset location has been quite consistent over the years on the same date. Now we will see how many of the people posting on this thread who are just SURE the sun has changed location will even acknowledge this resource. From past experience NONE of them will even admit to having looked at that data. Welp... as usual, no response at all from skytards to a resource which shows the western horizon at sunset each day over several years. I even spelled out how to find relevant images. One more time: [link to www.katkam.ca] We already know your bias, shilltard. Save your fingers for something more useful than typing. Bias? It's called evidence, clearly a foreign concept to you. It's called twisting eyewitness testimony to suit your end, bias, ridicule, frustrating sincere contributors, obfuscating and shilling. A little something, something for you shilltard. This must be a big story because all the cucarachas are coming out. |

Halcyon Dayz, FCD User ID: 25358447 Netherlands 12/18/2012 10:27 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | What about all of the possible scenarios that no one can rule out with confidence...? Quoting: Waterbug I'm confident that if I'll throw an apple of my balcony it will not start falling upward. I'm confident that the Earth's axis can't shift more than a few centimetres without creating the kind of geophysical havoc nobody could miss. (If they'd survive.) Indeed, what matters is what verifiable evidence people produce. All the verifiable evidence presented in this thread indicates that there's nothing wrong with the Sun's position in the sky. In my case I have 14 years worth of memories to remember that the sun set in the BACK of my house and this year it sets in the front. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30218778 Considering the verifiable evidence presented in this thread we can only assume that your memory is flawed. Humans aren't VCRs. Menow User ID: 18943200 United States 12/18/2012 11:50 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Its in the correct place OP. I would be worried if it was rising in the direct east like in summer :) Quoting: Blue Skies I think its the opposite, the sun isn't rising as high as it normally does and it's further south in winter for us northerners. It isn't rising and setting in the same places it normally does, it's further south which infers a greater tilt north for us. No, what it implies is that you aren't all that observant and that your memory is faulty. Do you have ANY photos from this time in previous years which would back up your memory? No? Didn't think so. In my case I have 14 years worth of memories to remember that the sun set in the BACK of my house and this year it sets in the front. But not one single photo, in 14 years, to demonstrate that? All you have to do to prove you are right is to take a time-lapse vid or series of stills (on a tripod) of the northern sky, showing that Polaris(the north star) is no longer right near the center of rotation of the northern sky. You will be famous as the discoverer of the biggest story in the history of Mankind. Go right ahead. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29871220 Waiting for the facts here too, Menow - 3 years of facts instead of repeating your opinion that every single person on the planet who sees sun anomalies has faulty memory. We've visited your infamous link - and it's a page of yet more useless links offering absolutely zero information to address the topic at hand. Really, Menow, for someone who's spent as much time as you have debunking threads like this on forums - and it seems you have quite the reputation out there - your arsenal is pretty lame. DUCM900 User ID: 30553157 Italy 12/21/2012 11:20 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | WTF..? Am I in the twilight zone..? Have you noticed that islands are disappearing..? World climate is warming. Polar ice is melting. Storms are bigger, stronger and more wide-spread. Earthquakes are increasing in number and frequency. Thermohaline circulation is slowing. Mass animal die-offs are being reported all over the globe. Whales and dolphins are beaching. Birds are falling out of the sky. And much more... But it's all normal, right..? You forgot the moon in full boat side mode even on the northern latitudes (in Canada too!! ).. NEVER happened since almost 2007 (it was noticed one time in that year). And now its occurring more, more frequently as well. However, CALM DOWN, this does not necessary mean doom. - Last Edited by IWASTHERE on 12/21/2012 11:54 AM |

DUCM900 User ID: 30632962 Italy 12/22/2012 08:49 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ok so i was putting the rubbish out for recycling and looked up to see the sun rising over the horizon...beautiful, stood freezing my tits off for a min looking at it when i realised that it was not in the east... Quoting: Nanna-Ree dont all start shouting at once, im probably wrong put it was def south east not east....i know where north is as i had an app on my last phone but i also have an old fashion compas too so ran into look for it and couldnt believe it...even got 17 y/o son to check it as he would understand it better as hes done 3 yrs at cadets and agreed... please explain the mistake i made to me as i have always been one to poohoo the whole sun moving pole shift stuff but got to say...im more than alittle shocked!!! beloved, this is shit. It is rising not to bad at all, its supposed to rise south east in the winter before solstice. I last saw it yesterday at rise, we had clouds today. as to where it is at high noon, about right too for this time of year as measured in my south facing window, but where sun beam shows on the opposite wall. We have had a small amount of axis shifting which may be putting buildings in front of rise or set and changing it slightly. (red text) I've notice that too. Normally the Sun rises East-South in winter time due the Eart's axis inclination. It reach the max extension from East on the 21 of December in about 30 degrees from East from my latitude; Now its almost 40 degrees from the East and for this reason, we have noticed these changes. PS I've just checked up today that at noon the stuff. - Last Edited by IWASTHERE on 12/22/2012 08:58 AM |
