Although I have felt a STRONG 'distaste' for the Rapture Doctrine (reason: exactly as you give - that it causes Believers to be unprepared and worse), my family of origin holds to it tighter & tighter with each passing year. Over Thanksgiving my dad was discussing Israel and the prophetic timeline that is so close in view, & he actually said that he will *KNOW* that any 'potential AntiChrist' is DEFINITELY NOT the one IF he/we are "still here" because if the Rapture hasn't occurred then the Tribulation hasn't started & the AntiChrist isn't on the scene.

He says many other things that worry me also ...that's just one...but it's a good example of how 'hard-wired' he's become into a Doctrine of MAN (an Interpretation, as opposed to direct, black and white Word of God).

I haven't had time yet to see the video on the 2nd book, but the Bible also has a verse in it that could be about the continents at one time being a single land mass and then being divided.

The book of Enoch is uninspired garbage. The only info we have about angels is that some fell to earth. Satan was a cherubim meaning he was a close protector of God. Ezekiel describes the angels as having many eyes and wings. He was given a vision of all this.

I too have always believed that we will spend the Millenium on Earth.('For where Jesus is, we will be also', my paraphrase.) Plus, I also believe that we will each have jobs, tasks, assignments ... that the 'eternal Rest' is rest from fear, worry, pain, disease, etc., and of course from sin.


May i ask what do you make of this lady's views/claims of Heaven, with rollercoasters/theme parks, movies (especially the specifics such as "Star Wars", a twisted, dare-I-say antichrist, messianic tale wth the Gnostic theme of the Force - good & bad co-existing in a balance - that shocked me), and descriptions of a lifestyle & activities that I feel are all very ego-centric, humanistic and imho, not indicative of praising, worshipping & *serving* Christ. Honestly, it felt like something a teenager would want/need to hear in order to allay their fears of "missing out on an Earthly life" (either through early death or the soon-to-come Tribulation & ultimately, the Day of the Lord).

I do not wish to criticize this woman, Kat Kerr, only properly test the spirit/source in light of the Word ....which is difficult in this case, as she uses much scripture to back up the *Basis* of each claim, yet then she goes a bit further, due to her "1st Hand Experience" that cannot be proven or disputed unless a person has been there also. (She lives in the city/mainland connected to the Beach where I live, but I don't know her or her church & only found her 'experiences' via the web.)
