To an atheist, everything is mundane and of trivial pursuit. I challenge one of them to put their Xbox down and replace that trivial pursuit time with prayer time. If in the final analysis all is for naught, then why not at least give prayer at try? If in fact you find eternal promise through attempting it, then wasn't the exercise worthwhile? Even the scientific mind that is in pursuit of the elusive carrot is looking for truth. Odd that everything they pursue is already there and in place by a higher mind that created it.

Look at this. Every time the word "Christian" is used on this board it leads to a knock-em-down drag-em-out fight. Seems like a really good reason to stay away from it and avoid all the headaches that go with it.

A dilemma for you of sort by not having much of an opinion on the concept that offers redemption and eternal promise from our Lord, but contempt for those which seek him. Why doesn't the atheists attack satan and his flock with more veracity at least to be consistent in the mindset? Were they badasses or tough as nails? Irrelevant. It does appear, though, that they swallowed their pride and took what God dished out.

Apparently you did not read the OP's post all the way through because it's clear from OP's statement about 'God' (underlined/bolded) that HE/SHE is NOT an atheist. Why did you accuse him/her of being one?

Why do religious folk always accuse those who criticize religion of automatically being atheists without even asking them about their feeling about 'God'???

There are many individuals who believe in a higher power/force AND dislike organized religion and it's effects on people. Apparently if one does not accept the biblical depiction of 'God' it automatically qualifies one as an 'atheist' in the eyes of those who do?

I just wanted to note that I find it alarming that I as a non Christian get automatically labelled as "atheist", although I made it very clear that I do believe in the prime creator of everything in existance. You christians will surely agree with me on that one, right?

I experienced the prime creator many times, on a personal level. I didn't read about it in a book, I directly experienced it, through entheogens.

So, calling me an atheist only shows the level of ignorance that dominates the majority of christians. You may throw around different catchphrases, like "satan" "antichrist" "mark of the beast" and all the things you love to accuse people that disagree with you, but that doesn't change the fact that you are ignorant to the first hand experiences I encountered with god, only because your corrupted book says there is but one way to the source.

How about this, Matthew, Mark and Luke cover some events that only Peter, James and his brother John saw so that is who wrote those books within 3 1/2 years of the cross.
