Considering the bible in no place mentions anything close to the rapture concept I would tend to agree. What it DOES say is we WILL go through wars and rumors of war, and famine and pestilence and the holy terror that is the four horsemen of the apocalypse. the fun part is you rapture believing morons will not last because you will feel slighted when old man christ doesn't come whisk you away. in fact, the bible doesn't even say any of us ever go to heaven. I am not saying there isn't a heaven identified in the bible, but it is apparently a pretty exclusive club to God and his immediate friends and family. It says in the bible in the end times...or beginning of the next time, the new jerusalem will come down out of the clouds after we are judged ( in the clouds with Jesus not in heaven) and we will all live happily ever after for a thousand years...ON EARTH.
