It's creepy-crawlies in the night, all right... Scary as hell. How is your relationship with your husband? And why do you think you could suddenly speak German? Were you ever in Germany? Maybe in the 1960s, and didn't know about it? Or were you taken somewhere that German was spoken, that you didn't know about? This may have happened to quite a few of us. How old are you?

If OP could recognize stuff in the dreams from the 60s, I presume she is fiftyish, the right age to have been involved in certain secret government programs. People who were part of these are later tormented and harrassed to keep them in fear and make their lives chaotic -- so that they will never REMEMBER

This goes to what Icke is saying about "Remember who you are". We have all been secretly victimized in one way or another. Some of us were abducted, drugged and hypnotized once upon a time, and other horrors were committed on us in the name of "National Security" and other rationalizations created to justify these crimes. Much of it was done just for the pleasure of the sadists who inflicted it.

People who suffer with dreams of this nature have often been victims of these programs and they are often targets of harrassments of different kinds.

You should read the book, "Journeys Out of the Body" by Robert A. Monroe. What you're describing sounds just like his experiences in what he calls Locale II. Your dream was more real than you think...

Do you know if it is available online? Sounds like an interesting read.

Re: Had strangest dream about being in another dimension last night.
Is there such a thing as disembodied spirits? Are they around us and looking for ways to get back into bodies? I would pay more attention to this guy in your dream who tried to get into your house. That is symbolic of what I'm talking about. It's possibly a disembodied spirit who is trying to take over your body. The other woman may be an integrated part of your personality -- a different part you weren't conscious of before. But now that you are being attacked by this disembodied spirit, you have become conscious of things you weren't conscious of before. It's scary so it's showing up in your dreams. But that'a realm of alternate physics as we all know. But not many really know what is possible in that other realm, the other dimension you speak of. Sleep/dreaming is another dimension. People just don't usually think of it like that. You can be attacked in that state. You need to protect yourself but it sounds like you are getting stronger if you were able to push him out. Keep doing that. He will go away. It happened to me. I was able to drive out a spirit and it did not come back. The key is becoming aware and then standing firm.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 4175529

this makes sense - how the first guy was asking about your "house" and pushed his way in and was wanting to buy it. our meat suits are just our vehicles in this existence. now if your dogs and cats were starting at you funny lately then it's a definite.

No, I am in my late thirties. I do remember my past life though when I lived in that time period. I remember my violent death, and it still haunts my dreams. I do speak some German, that was what someone was wondering. I am positive that it was things that were familiar to the sixties time period. Though, I am wondering however if there is a dimension pararallel to ours that is behind us, because it seemed "present" not past.

I had a dream once where things were in very slow motion. Like in the movie 'Melancholia'. There were these 'men in black' type of men who kept trying to frighten me and make me move and do things I absolutely did not want to do. Just simple body movements, but movements I didn't want none the less. Hated that dream.

Strange. It really makes you wonder who the other woman is, and if she is a real person somewhere sharing your dream. She may be wondering if you made it out ok.

I had a dream about 4 nights ago that i will share, it is not about another realm as your dream was, but i think it might be interesting to someone.

Me and a woman, not sure who it was, were out in the middle of no where. Nothing but grassy fields as far as you could see. There was an old trailer with a tree directly behind it, she was hanging out under the tree, scared.

There was a car about 40 yards away from the trailer sitting parallel to it. I was fairly close to the vehicle. And a few hundred yards away there was a lighting storm coming. It was weird though. It was running parallel to the trailer and the car and was coming straight for us.

The lightning was a mile or two wide, strikes just kept coming down and it was moving in an orderly fashion. I don't really know how else to describe it. It was many separate bolts all perfectly spaced maybe 100yrds. apart staying in a perfect line moving across the horizon and coming right for us. It was ominous and seemed like it had a mind of it's own.

The last thing i remember is thinking that we would be safe in the car. It was very close by then. Then i woke up.

Most of my dreams i forget immediately or are very vague but this was pretty vivid.

I had another dream about myself and other people running from meteors a month ago, which i had never had before. They were basketball sized and coming in at an angle. I just chalked that one up to too much doom and gloom post reading.

But this one with the lightning was something i had never heard or even seen in movies before. It was very different.

Re: Had strangest dream about being in another dimension last night.
This was the strangest ever dream. It felt too real though, not a dream at all. I "woke up" in the dream in another dimension in my dream.
I was in house it looked decorated like you would have seen in the 60's. It had a television set, and the shows on it were what you would have associated with another time and place. The people on the set, looked human just as I did.

It just starts off with me waking up in the dream, in an unfamiliar bed. a woman who also wakes up is walking down the hallway. She is as bewildered as I am. I ask her, "Did you just find yourself here, just like me." The look of bewilderment on her face was unmistakable, she clearly didn't belong here either.
We walked around the place, looking for some recognition of place, or time. Then there was a knock on the door. She looked at me paniced. like should we open the door?

A man was at the door. The look in his eyes, told me that he knew we didn't belong there. I sensed he was some sort of dimensional being, that looked as human as I did. He asked weird questions, like "Is this your home?" I said, "Why do you want to know?" He pretended to be interested in buying the place. He invited himself in, by pushing past me and was staring at me and her both. She seemed uncomfortable as well. It seemed like he was reading our thoughts. I said, "Well, this house isn't for sale. You need to go."

I rushed him out of there. He stood outside the house, facing the front door after that. Like waiting for something to happen. I said, "I don't like this. Why are we here?" She said, "I don't know." "What do you remember?" I asked. She said, she remembered falling asleep and then woke up here. Same thing happened to me.

We started looking through boxes, looking for any thing that would tell us where we were. It seemed like the past, but it was the present. It could have been earth, it could have been another place just like earth. I told her, "I don't feel good being here.My family isn't here. I don't want to be here." She nodded at me. She said, "We need to go back to sleep." I agreed with her. She sat in the chair, and tried to relax, but we were both aware the man was still outside. I have to admit, it was freaking me out too.

I told her we should go in the bedroom and lock the door, and try to go back to sleep. That gave her some piece of mind. I don't remember what her name is either, but she told me. She told me different bits like she was from Texas. We talked until we both fell asleep. When I woke up, I was in my bed. I was startled awake. After that I fell back asleep.

And I had another dream. I was back in the same house! The same woman was there. This time another entity was there, we couldn't see it but it was angry! We were trying to leave the house, and it was preventing us. I managed to get through the front door.

I was looking through the window at her, the light bulbs blew out, and she was screaming. I was pounding on the door. I heard it speaking german. She didn't understand it, but I did. I started screaming the at the top of my lungs "Offnen die Tur!"

My husband woke me up. I was screaming in German. He said I was shaking, and screaming. I was still half way asleep, but told him what I dreamed. I felt like I slept for ages. This was the strangest night of my life.

At first i though you where mabe having a vision of a past life, or possibly the timeloop theory where we keep looping at certain intervals kinda like ground hog day the movie.
Then after you mentioned the "intruder" that put that out of the question, but i think the women was either a friend, family member, from a past life or your soul mate. Just my thought on why there was such a connection.
What i think you should do though is write everything down that the intruder said in german and what you both talked about while you where in the bedroom, it could give you clues.

Re: Had strangest dream about being in another dimension last night.
ok.. weird.

I woke at 1.11am and went to the bathroom, on the way back I always look out the window at the sky and the surrounding streets, we live by a busy A road that never stops.
There were no cars on it. Odd I thought and went back to ebd.

Woke at 2.22am, I laughed as I looked at the clock at the chances of that happening, noticed no cars still so lay there waiting for a car and whispered to my hubby who I thought was awake "Is the A road closed or something, there's no traffic2 he wasn't awake though and just mumbled something.

Woke at 3.33am and sat up, hubby woke at the same time and I said "This is weird, like I'm in an alternative reality where the A road isn't busy. Is it shut or something?"

he replied that it might well be as they were resurfacing it... well I hadn't and couldn't hear any resurfacing noises and we all know how noisy those works are!

I lay back down and said "Well I hope if we have jumped to another reality we wont be so poor in this one"

Went to sleep and woke later to the sound of a car horn outside... the A road seems normal busy now and my bank account is just as empty as it always is.. lmao
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 18725862

I had a simular experience last night but i woke up about 7 or 8 times, i didn't have a point of reference like you with the traffic because i am in a work camp but it felt very weird, i would fall asleep and what felt like hrs was minutes to half an hr. longest night i have had in a long time. Don't remember any weird dreams or 11:11 type numbers though :(

My husband brought me into the room to watch a movie trailer, he said it sounded similar to my dream. It gave me goosebumps! It is called "Another Earth", this got me to wondering if the veil is getting so thin between this other world and ours that even the idea is being picked up and made into a movie.

Interesting dream and concept, OP.

Some years ago I had a vivid dream that was similar. I was taken across the country to somewhere in the south, I sensed and someone?? seemed to be taking me there. There was man who was with me that I didn't know. He looked just as baffled as I was at taking this trip. This person (or being, as I couldn't quite focus on it), took us to a house that seemed like it was from the 1940's or 50's and presented it to us as if it was going to be our house. I remember walking around and looking at it like I was on some sort of real estate tour. Then I thought of my daughter and I started to panic. I said I didn't want to leave my daughter behind and I became frantic to find a phone and call her. There seemed to be no phone and then I was back in my own house, relieved.

Yes, those are some of my fears. I don't know if they come across into my dream state, but it was very visual detailed dream. I could recall the colors that were subdued, like the shows that came on in the 60's "The Brady Bunch" etc. The colors on the tv were like that. The surroundings were vivid and normal, like when your looking around the room for the first time. You tend to pick up on more detail, because it is new.

Just thinking out of the box for a moment... what if they really did figure out how to shift timelines? Like putting us back in time 50 years to keep us from perishing from from forseen cataclism. I actually heard someone do a video on that before. LOL I didn't think it was possible at the time, but maybe I should keep a more open mindtounge Would make a good sci-fi movie.

You want to hear something kind of weird?

I want to first state that I have not experienced the dream or dimension you wrote about here. At least not last night, and not that I remember.

While I was reading it though, it seemed like I knew what was going to happen just ahead of actually reading what you wrote. Like I had read it before .

The other strange part is, I am a female from Texas, and I have no children.

I remember her night gown too, kind of thin, off white looking, pearl looking buttons on it. I will see if I can find any pictures of it on the internet. I would remember it. I thought it was a pretty gown, because it had an old fashioned look to it.

OP
it sounds to me like you OBE'd last night. While out of body a dark spirit tried to step into your body. Symbolically the house is your body, the door which you closed is symbolic (as well) of you leaving your body unprotected while you were out of body, allowing any spirit the means of stepping through and into your body.

In the future before falling off to sleep ask your spirit guide(s) to watch over you (if you're religious pray to god for protection) it doesn't matter what you belief system is only that you do believe, there is protection available to you. Surround yourself with golden-white light of protection imagine it as though it were a sphere of light encapsulating your body.
