Here is another example.....the temple. Many are waiting for the temple to be rebuilt......when the temple is our body.

Another example, the 2 witnesses. Many are waiting for 2 literal men to be the 2 witnesses, when I believe the 2 witnesses are already here and have been for a long time.




So, clearly some are right and some are wrong. The only question at this point is......who's the right one?

I can't say that I'm 100% sure either way. So, I continue to watch and wait and pray because our salvation doesn't rest on this anyway. Our salvation is based on Jesus Christ. Everything else is just interesting details.

Sometimes there are dual meanings -- both the figurative and the literal, or current and future.

Could the two witnesses be two groups of people -- say, those that are the "seed of Abraham" and those that are grafted in? Sure, it's completely possible. You're right that we need to keep our eyes wide open, but in context with God's Word.

The saving of flesh appears to be important in the bible. 2 John 1:7 KJV biblegateway.com For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
Matthew 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

As surely as the word is put into flesh and has the capability to be saved, I think the two witnesses are of the literal sense and yet to come. Revelation 11:1-6

There is an exact time of 1260 days. They will prophesy, and they are two men. It does not say who they are, but given that they represent two lampstands and olive trees, they must have power in their words that is irrefutable, and leads the deceived to the truth particularly the Jew to find Christ.

This! I agree that it is a warning to the ultimate warning. Thing is, when the waters do turn to blood, not even just 'as blood'...people will still scoff and try to explain it away when God is giving clear divine warning of the times to come. God sent Jesus to tell us, the prophets, His disciples (then and now) and His Word. He has done everything devoid of violating the free will. Mankind will have no excuse!!!

It might be 2 men, but might not be.....might be 2 groups of people. Or might it even be the OT and the NT?

The human race is also called "mankind"...but there are also women in this race, so "mankind" isn't literal either.

1 Timothy 2:4 "who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth."

"Men" means "people".....not literal male humans only.

Don't get hung up on a word or two, but look at the bible as a whole. Not every single word is literal.

The bible also talks about "a great cloud of witnesses". It doesn't mean a literal cloud.

Jesus talked about "living waters" and we know that He didn't mean literal water here on earth. Also the fig tree....these things are symbolic.

I have to disagree with you on this one. While some portions of the bible are figurative in nature such as parables, the indication is given to the reader for such. Here the mission is clearly defined as well as what they will do and the time period that they will do it in. If it were figurative, then wording that is comparative in nature would have been used.

Our dear sweet poor Jesus, this makes me cry as I feel it's our saviors blood being poured out upon the earth. Oh dear sweet Lord Jesus have mercy on our souls, have mercy on the evils of mankind and wash us clean as you're doing with the earth, the earth is even be cleansed by the blood of the Lamb.

God bless you Lisa for your kind and sweet soul, constantly trying to warn and save souls. I had a dream a few weeks ago it was morning and still winter yet the sky the atmosphere was a pink hue. I feel that is Abba warning me once we see this pinkness and it wasn't just in the sky it was like everything was glowing a soft pink, it was lovely but also foreboding. When we see this pink it's the end. This morning as I was outside feeding my stray cat, I noticed that the atmosphere was kind of pinkish not as pink in my dream but it's pink. Does anyone else notice this? It's like the veil is dropping.

My husband also had a dream of a pink/red sky 4 nights in a row until he told me about it. This was about a year ago.

Something had happened because my mother was living with us and we were getting food from the apple orchards down the road here. My husband was picking apples off the trees and bringing them home for us to eat.

We would never do this, unless TSHTF scenario.
