Looked out the window just as Venus was rising above the treeline to my east and it looked spooky as hell. Grabbed my binoculars and could make out the entire moon with just the left side illuminated as a tiny sliver. Now that I think about it, I wish I had tried taking pics anyway. |

Was having fun laying on my back porch with a pair of binoculars in hand scanning the sky for satellites until then though. And man did it get chilly overnight. Yesterdays low was around 60. Today its yet to get over 41 with a wind chill of around 35. |

I thanked God for that "gift" and as soon as I did, the clouds covered them back up. Great start to the day! |
