Germ in Cat Feces May Affect Human Brain, Behavior: Study
MONDAY, Dec. 10 (HealthDay News) -- New research reveals how toxoplasma -- a parasite commonly found in cat litter boxes -- might affect behavior and mental health in humans.

Between 30 and 50 percent of the world's population is believed to be infected with the Toxoplasma gondii parasite, but very few people have symptoms because the immune system usually keeps the parasite from causing illness. T. gondii is also found in animals, particularly domestic cats.

WOW I was reading yesterday about brain calcium deposits

and how to cure it with Vitamin K

Toxoplasmosis: Toxoplasmosis is a chronic parasitic infection caused by parasite Toxoplasma gondii which is found in cat feces. It is a rare infection that usually does not affect a normal healthy person, however, people with weak resistance or immune system, or even pregnant women are more prone to acquire it, especially while cleaning a cat's litter box, which is the breeding place for this parasite. This infection can be one of the major causes for calcium deposits in the brain which may potentially damage the brain and eyes.

“Out of this war, the greatest since the beginning of history, a new world must be born, a world that would justify the sacrifices offered by humanity. This new world must be a world in which there shall be no exploitation of the weak by the strong, of the good by the evil; where there will be no humiliation of the poor by the violence of the rich; where the products of intellect, science and art will serve society for the betterment and beautification of life, and not the individuals for achieving wealth. This new world shall not be a world of the downtrodden and humiliated, but of free men and women and free nations, equal in dignity and respect for Mankind and Nature.”

Legalize weed, ban cats?

"To our knowledge, this is the first report of an association between elevated maternal IgG antibody to Toxoplasma and the risk of schizophrenia. This finding was revealed by using prospectively collected and archived prenatal serum specimens in a well-characterized birth cohort. Although the finding fell slightly short of statistical significance, these facts lend credence to the result."

Ha. Wow. My parents had always kept cats. I wonder how much that may have fucked me up in the long run.
