A trained soldier with a properly sighted .50 cal can and will take out any number of targets if given enough time. Lets use your logic:

So theres other military types that dont share my views, that cool, but theres a severe difference between a grunt and someone trained in long kill shots. No serviceman anywhere...shit, no group of 50 serviceman complete with M-16's and full garb would even volunteer to hunt down a fellow serviceman who has been trained by the US in the use of a .50 cal.

Why? Because as Ive stated numerous times, it isnt worth their trouble. I will kill half of them before they even got into range with their pea shooters. Do you think that a group of people faced with starving and deplorable conditions would hunt down a trained killer of complete strangers as some show of greater good!?

Ya gotta quit it with the rose colored glasses man. Lemme ask you...say someone was doing exactly what I propose to neighbors of yours. The LEO's come to you and ask you if you'll volunteer to track this trained killer down. Would your response be to grab a gun and help? Not a chance in hell because self preservation will take over.

Im not Rambo in the generic sense, but when it comes to WAR, 99.99999999999% of you would piss in your pants spending just a week in Afghanistan. Partially due to movies and video games making death and war look like fun, partially due to the fact most American think they are tough when in fact, they most certainly are not.

You know nothing of war. You've never came across an open grave of civvies while driving point on a routine patrol. You've never been in a line of humvees which came under attack from all sides at once and had to make cognitive decisions regarding life and death have you?

I could go on and on, but my point here is that very very few of you will be able to even think clearly when bullets are flying let alone be able to send some stupid lynching party against a person who has faced war and seen death.

Doesnt mean I think none of you will survive, but when pitted against someone like me...you wouldn't survive a second because theres no hesitation when training takes over. Especially when someone like me has the most powerful rifle on the planet, the ability to use it as intended, and a dgaf attitude.

Cant wait for ma and pa civvy to form the lynching party...I'll enjoy the skeet shoot, then when they're all dead in the field, I'll relieve them of their guns too lol.

On one hand, you have a person trained to kill with a powerful weapon. Someone who has been in an actual firefight where actual people are actually trying to KILL them. Someone who has been traind on how to defend their position using all kinds of IED's and chemical based explosives.
On the other hand, you have an accountant. Trained in the use of tax law and calculators and zero training on using any weapon. Hes out of shape and hasnt prepped so much as a can of beans.

Give or take...we have about one million active service members right now out of a total of roughly 400 million civvies. In fact...most communities across the nation dont have a single person in the armed forces. That leaves a million trained people to cover the 70 million sq miles in the US. Thats one million sq miles EACH would have to cover. When put into simple numbers, your logic of lynching squads is poppycock at best.

Most trained soldiers are overseas anyway. If tshtf right this moment, there'd be very few of these servicemen to run around lynching. And ma/pa civvy just wouldn't have the testicular fortitude to put up any offense at the onset of a Earth shattering disaster.

I'd say you're almost right. Most preppers are like those who keep antifreeze in their car. It's about not having your world turn upside down just because of some storm, natural disaster, political change, or other unexpected event.

If I get a power failure for a day, or two months, it won't really affect me too much. I'll be able to help those that it does effect. Just remember the boy scout motto: "Be Prepared".

And btw....yes....when compared to civilians...I am the baddest ass of the baddest because civvies are good at just a few things:

Armchair quarterbacking
Liquor
X Factor
Buying needless shit

I'll decide if I want to share anything with my neighbors after the Shtf and after I get to know them. Lets just say I don't have a clue to who my neighbors are and won't have until they decide to be more sociable. These days people really try to maintain their privacy. Most of the people I know are through business relationships. Oddly enough I know more about them than my actual neighbors.

Most preppers I know, including myself, stock extra for the people who didn't prepare. You can't save everyone which is the reason for the guns, but people could have listened while they had the chance, too.

Preppers are only people who see the end as our country will be in a great depression soon. They are so sure that the end is near; and when it is; they will be the only true survivors. And there is nothing to hate about this. They are very secure in knowing that their families will survive the coming international upheaval; and they don't want to hurt anybody unless they have to for the protection of their families. Preppers love the thought that you could have found a way to survive too; and they do take glee in knowing that they are the ultimate survivors; while everybody else will be starving or dead, and they survive because of their intelligence and ingenuity.

Well I am not a prepper; but God does prepare His people for what is going to definately happen; as the new world order antichrist will try to force the whole world to take his mark of the beast chip in your forehead or right hand. And if you take their chip; you will be forever rejected by God and thrown into hell. Why!? Because that chip will mean that you have rejected God and Jesus Christ and have chosen Satan and his antichrist as your lord and god!!

We had 40,000 soldiers ALL searching for Saddam. It was our sole purpose above ALL else. We all wanted to be in the group that found him. So thats 40,000 trained soldiers searching for one man in an area the size of New York City. It took 3 months to find him even with the most sophisticated equipment.

Dont tell me what i should know when it comes to war and death. Ive experienced plenty of both and I gaurantee you...you WILL freeze the first time you are shot at...then you will die. Any other scenario is just Hollywood.
