It is believed by some that Armageddon (or Doomsday), is coming on 21 December 2012, as the ancient Mayan calendar ends on that date.

It is also believed that the Pic de Bugarach, in the Aude department of the Languedoc- Roussillon, is an ‘alien garage’ and within its caves or ‘grottes’ the aliens are waiting to leave the earth on 21 December 2012, taking with them a select few humans, who will be spared from the end of human civilization.

According to ‘Nostradamus’ (a French apothecary) the vibrations of the mountain were ‘positive’ and visits to the Pic de Bugarach inspired both Jules Verne’s A Journey to the Centre of the Earth, The Raiders of the Lost Ark and Steven Spielburg’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

There has also been talk of secret archealogical digs by the Nazis, the Israeli Secret Service (Mossad), flying saucers, ‘humming’ from the mountain and mysterious helicopter visits by Francois Mitterand, the late French President.

Absolute nonsense is my first impression... When I saw my first UFO, a black triangle, I was in a state of shock and/or awe and my actions showed it. I did not even think to film the thing until it was long gone... But maybe the average Joe with his Iphone would have been right on it...
