i have cystic fibrosis
and am 26 years old.

I used to go to the hospitol once every three months, but have not been back since I was 18.

I don't feel being told how I'm different every three months is going to help me... I believe in my mind and heart, I'm the same as everyone and have always believed and felt this way.

When I was 14, they checked me again to see if I actually have cystic fibrosis (something you're born with) and I did, but from what they've said... One of the mildest, if not the mildest, case they've ever seen.

I keep doing what I (and my heart) want to do, and have been fine and I like to believe it is because my heart and mind will prevail over my body.

Maybe I'm just lucky, maybe it is mind over matter...

I don't know why I'm sharing, but.. here a "cool story bro" for free!

they said "you can't color the sky green!"

you didn't listen to the haters and just followed your heart... that's why you got A's.

I had a friend with cf. Youre doing much better than he did. I had plenty people I came up with without cf that didnt get as far as you have.
None of us are gonna live forever, so dont act like you got screwed out of anything and dont do the 'rebellion' thing and cut things shorter.
