my dad's been working out for 45+ years... he works out at home now.

Has a full gym in the basement but NO free weights... back in the day he had all free weights in the garage before there where gyms in the area.. then he joined the gyms..

Make sure he lubes the walk belt quarterly (no one does). A dry walk belt creates friction overload which heats up the controller which leads to failure and $$ to repair.

A lot of people are working out using more resistance techniques instead of heavy weights, I like to do both.

i stopped doing machine weights years ago.. and the only free weights i do now is a bicep workout.

i'm all Kettlebell(s) the supreme workout! I get the tight yet strong muscles and I feel my muscles are useful...

i also do military style routine with push-ups, sit ups, chin-ups...

doing any of the above in duration is harder and i think better then any cardio workout.

You muscle usefulness is only as good as what the heart can pump out and maintain... which is why i like kettlebells... heavy load.. duration workout = my heart rate barely goes up doing most ordinary stuff anymore.

This is why I don't go to the gym - so I am not the "creepy guy" because, frankly, daaayaaamn!

I believe once a woman has been hurt many times by a man, somehow the power of being a tease is very tempting. If you've ever been dumped and went through a time when you just didn't want to date because you hurt too much inside, its sometimes a power play to 'work it' and know that no one is going to 'get it'. Girls that dress like complete skanks want to be checked out. But with workout clothes, it's hard to tell who is trying to look like a slut and who is just wearing tight gym clothes. Me personally, I tend to wear a lot of those jogging pants, the type that feel like a bathing suit and are very tight, but come down to my knees. And I usually wear a normal t-shirt that fits nicely (not too big or too loose). I feel like this is a comfortable medium that guys are not going to overly notice because it's not overly revealing.

But that isn't the problem for me. The problem for me is that guys still will watch things bounce and jiggle, and as a woman, we can't help that. Not even in the most restricting boob-cage of a sports-bra or tight booty-conforming pants. Stuff still bounces around. And guys will be creeps and watch that. But to be fair, I use the gym in my apartment building and all the disgusting horny Salvadoreans and Africans pretend to casually walk by the gym to do their laundry or whatever, and I know they are looking at the goods. I wouldn't even mind as much if it was someone who was legitimately trying to work out and just couldn't help himself but to look at a hot girl's boobs jiggling, but it's never like that for me. It's always some creep who isn't even working out. And that pisses me off.
