there are nice girls and nice guys out there. they just try not associate with they types that would bring their character/morals down so they tend to stay away from areas that attract those types.

I go to the gym in the off hours when it is not busy to avoid the nonsense there and I wear headphones most of the time. Sometimes I am scared of all those things you mentioned because I feel like I'll never find that "special" one. It seems insane and idealistic as you put it. I agree with you that I put too many restrictions and limitations on myself. I just don't know how to shake it off and become like others.
