Don't discount the small hints that mother nature reveals in advance of large earthquakes. Quoting: ººEATºº Remember the oar fish that washed up on Japanese shores in the months preceeding the March 11, 2011 earthquake? That was a hint of the massive earthquake that was coming.... you've said this many times in relation to Cali. Thanks for saving the west coast again. Now we know there will be no Cali quake this week or next. |

Another important thing to note at this time is the asteroid that flies by Earth today. There is a theory that near asteroids fly bys have the potential to trigger earthquakes. If it is true... this asteroid could be the straw that breaks the camel's back for San Francisco.... In the end it doesn't even matter... |

Since 1900 there have been (89) M8+ Earhquakes. None have occurred between the Queen Charlotte Triple Junction of the Coast of British Columbia and the Rivera Triple Junction off the Coast of the Baja Peninsula. Also Since 1922 the Largest Earthquake to occur in California is M7.3. Five M9+ Earthquakes have occurred since 1900. All have occurred in Subduction Zones. Well EAT is disqualified for lack of Santa Hat, Seeing as how he didn't put a mag number to his prediction, and just claims it is a large quake, then he might have been right had he said Large Quake in Eureka Ca. Is about to strike. No Hat, No Quake. Thats the rules. Did I say anything about a subduction earthquake? No I did not. The Cascadia Subduction Zone to the north is where the BIG earthquakes will happen. San Francisco has the potential for an 8.2 magnitude earthquake... which is very large. And it will be right underneath the city... making it very devastating. |

I agree with your posting, and can still see a series of 7's in a chain doing a lot of damage, it doesn't have to be a 9 on the San Andreas, if a string of 7's lead into the PNW and trigger a large 8 on the Juan De Fuca. Likely to happen ?, no. Could it happen?, yes, most quake predictions and animations always show the quake starting in south San Fran. and moving to the north towards JDF.
