USGS No Such thing as foreshocks? Not so says their own website.
I seem to remember not long ago the USGS basically saying "there is no such thing as foreshocks."


Article on USGS on website updated within the last 15 years cites an actual event of a foreshock.

Also a 2012 educational piece from USGS talks about foreshocks:

Also found "Foreshocks may warn that a big quake is coming":

So if you see a medium sized quake (4-6) stay alert! The big one may be coming.
